Introduction To NR
NR Material Description
Introduction
Natural rubber (NR) is mainly rubber hydrocarbon (polyisoprene), containing a small amount of protein, moisture, resin acid, sugar and inorganic salts.
High elasticity, high tensile strength, excellent tear resistance and electrical insulation, good wear resistance and drought resistance, good processability, easy bonding of other materials, and superior to most synthetic rubbers in terms of comprehensive properties.
Natural rubber is a natural polymer compound with polyisoprene as the main component, the molecular formula is (C5H8)n, 91%~94% of its composition is rubber hydrocarbons (polyisoprene), and the rest are proteins, fatty acids, ash, sugars and other non-rubber substances.
What we usually call natural rubber refers to the elastic solids made by natural latex collected from the Brazilian rubber tree and processed through solidification, drying and other processing processes.
Natural rubber is a natural polymer compound with polyisoprene as the main component, and its rubber hydrocarbon (polyisoprene) content is more than 90%, and also contains a small amount of protein, fatty acids, sugar and ash
| relative density | Hardness (Shore A) | Tensile strength (MPa) | Elongation(%) | Operating temperature range (℃) |
| 0.93 | 20 ~ 100 | 6.89 ~ 27.56 | 100 ~ 700 | -75~90 |
Ingredients
There are about 2,000 different plants in the world that produce polymers similar to natural rubber, and different kinds of rubber have been obtained from 500 of them, but the real practical value is the Brazilian three-leaf rubber tree.
When the surface of the rubber tree is cut, the milk ducts inside the bark are cut and latex flows out of the tree. Latex collected from rubber trees, diluted with acid, coagulated, washed, then tableted, dried, and baled to produce commercially available natural rubber.
Standard rubber or granular rubber is a new variety of natural rubber developed in the 60s of the 20th century. In the past, the traditional products of general tobacco sheets, crepe tablets, and air-dried tablets were constrained by the development of natural rubber in terms of grading methods and manufacturing methods.
Therefore, Malaysia began to implement the standard rubber program in 1965, and developed the production of granular rubber on the basis of the use of raw rubber physical and chemical property classification.
Application industry
Manufacture of tires, rubber shoes, hoses, tapes, insulation and sheaths for wires and cables, and other general products.
It is especially suitable for the manufacture of torsional vibration eliminators, engine shock absorbers, machine supports, rubber-metal suspension elements, diaphragms, molded products.
